True Blood' plays major role in Time Warner profits

there's some good news for media juggernaut Time Warner, and it largely has HBO and "True Blood" to thank. According to new reports the company posted a 2% rise in revenue for the three months ending on September 30.
When it comes to television, you probably know that these three months are not necessarily the highlights of the year. There's not often a lot going on for TV in July and August except for reality shows, and the fall season doesn't typically begin until the second-to-last week in September.
This ultimately maked the company's performance even more impressive, and the report cites the adventures of Sookie Stackhouse and Bill Compton as reasons way. This show, in addition to "The Pacific," were HBO's two biggest hits of the summer.
